Hello! If you've found this page you are probably interested in working for Greener Pastas! Festival work is a popular way of having a fun summer and a less empty wallet, many students and young professionals do it and it is a life changing experience!

 

Here are a few guidelines to know if you're cut out for the hard work hard play lifestyle...

 

1-LONG HOURS - mainly on your feet, serving, chopping veg, stocking fridge.. the list of tasks is endless, so the shifts do fly by as you don't get bored but can be hard if you are tired and hungover! We need people to KNOW THEIR LIMITS. Temptation is everywhere and if you can't pull your weight other staff members will suffer!

 

2-CAMPING - There are facilities in the kitchen unit for hot water, coffee and microwave and of course a full kitchen of pasta and paninis that you're welcome to use and eat but at the end of the day, literally, you are in a tent, so be sure to pack comfy stuff as you'll need that beauty sleep!

 

3-QUALIFICATIONS - You'll need a LEVEL 2 Health and Hygiene certificate, you can apply without this and talk to us about helping you get one.

Also we ask for applicants to have work experience, preferably in catering but any role where tasks are transferable will do.

 

4-ATTITUDE - It's hard work for everyone and none of us have slept enough so please be happy and positive to keep team spirits up :)

 

5-PAY - £7.50/h + tips. Free food and coffee all day.
